Merry Christmas!

The kids on Christmas morning.
I made them all matching jammies bottoms and they turned out so cute! What a great day we had- SO NICE to stay home and not have to pack up and go anywhere!

Love THIS kid!

I have really enjoyed having only Dylan home with me the last few months. It's been really good for him. He is talking SO much and his little personality is coming out. Sometimes I hear him playing with his Lego guys and the conversations that they have crack me up! Every afternoon I try to have "Mommy Time" with him when we do something together that he chooses. I hope I'm still able to do that after the baby is born so he doesn't feel left out.

Last week, he discovered Spencer's Star Wars things and has been loco about it ever since. On Thursday he watched Star Wars 3 times in a row. I kept asking him if he wanted to do something different with me or go outside but he didn't want to--and he wants to be Darth Vader everyday- even though the costume is like 8 sizes too big.

Annie is his little sidekick, following him around all day. Those two have really bonded. I love watching them together. Dylan is really sweet to her when he wants to be.
I just had to say how much I am loving this little kid!

Christmas Inspiration for Me

I love looking at Christmas decorations! This picture collection is just for me so I can refer back to it when I need some inspiration.
Garland from Nesting Place

Next few pictures are from here

Gingerbread guy looks like an ornament or maybe part of a cute garland?

(Use 12"-18" wreath and jumbo paper mache letters from Joanns)

Glittered cookie cutters, balls with letter rub-ons

Tree topper-start with a wreath wrapped in garland, add sticks and ornaments

(This idea can be for any holiday...
just need the long wooden box
and candles as the starting point)

Deck the Halls

We've "decked the halls" at our house, and I love it!!
(why is this underlined?!...I can't make it go away)

Entertainment Center shelf

This tree is in an urn on our piano
My favorite ornament from the piano tree..it's whimsical and super sparkly!

Breakfast Nook
Close-ups of my favorite wreath (because of the leopard print)

Shelf in the kitchen

The "fancy" tree that only I can decorate

Spencer's tree in his room
The girls' tree
The kid's tree upstairs
A few treasures on the kids tree
(By the way, everything looks better in real life, of course. Especially the things with lights-they get all weird with the flash. If I knew how to work my camera correctly, I could probably get better shots, but you get get the idea.)
